Hm. try this: when you have the reply window open, there's the icons on the top. Click 10-th from the pink square on your right. it's an icon for inserting the links.

I'm sorry, I really have no idea why it happens. I post also from the USA, I have no problems. I just copy/paste the links without any special devices.
